Nutanix Move 4.6

A new version of Nutanix Move – VM migration tool which makes it possible to migrate VMs between environments with minimal downtime – was released a few days ago meaning the latest version is now 4.6.

The 4.6 release comes with the following new features and capabilities:

  • Support for Flow VPC and PC Category for migrations.
  • Support for Hyper-V 2022 Cluster.
  • Verification of the Powershell version

A few more things have been added in 4.5.x releases and these are also included in the 4.6 release as well e.g.:

  • Support for Bandwidth cap feature.
  • Support for Plan creation with VM priorities.
  • Added a service to show Host/Move containers resource metrics with Grafana dashboards.  Customers can also build their own monitoring Grafana dashboards.
  • Support of migrations to NC2 on Azure.

    • NC2 on AWS
    • NC2 on Microsoft Azure
  • VMware ESXi on legacy infrastructure to VMware ESXi on Nutanix
