Finally how to use the tool. Great work !!!!!
Also I am trying to install/run the tool but I am not able to get the Java working. I have tried to install 1.6 JRE however the install wants Net access.
Anyone have a work around

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the the solution. It worked like a charm for me. One thing to note in the command line: there are two dash lines in front of “scanMachines” and in front of “limit” parametes. So the command line should be:
viewdbchk.cmd –-scanMachines –-limit 100
instead of
viewdbchk.cmd –scanMachines –limit 100

Hi, the command should remove the desktop pool as well. if it doesn’t you might need to clean it from the ADAM database. If you are not experienced with that i suggest you can open a VMware SR or just google it.

I appreciate this post tremendously. I have run the command and I’m not getting any problem VMs. The output says that 0 Vms on 0 Pools. Do you know of a command tool that will delete the actual pool? That seems to be where my problem is.
