Congrats. Last year me and my manager went on vendor provided passes.
Vegas in August is VERY hot. Mandalay Bay conference center is MASSIVE. Bring very comfortable shoes. If you do fitbit or similar, your step counter will be off the charts.

Mandalay Bay hotel was fully booked – I mean every single room was booked at least 30 days in advance.
If you feel like splurging Four seasons is in the same building and does offer nicer amenities, rooms and nice private (Four seasons only guests very nice pool area). You still have access to Mandalay Bay’s massive “beach” style pool if you feel like taking a dip.
