AOS 7.0  & AHV 10.0

Today, 2024-12-04, Nutanix released new versions of both AOS and AHV meaning the latest and greates versions are AOS 7.0 and AHV 10.0

A lot of new end enhanced features with these releases:

  • Increased Maximum Supported Memory on AHV Hosts  8 TB

  • Optionally Disable the SCSI Controller on VMs
  • Support for NVIDIA A2 Tensor Core GPU card
  • Support for NVIDIA H100 NVL GPU card
  • Open Source Driver Support for L and H series GPU
  • Semantic Versioning format for AHV
  • VMs with WSL2 are supported for Intra-Cluster Live Migration Support
  • PCIe Passthrough for Guest VMs
  • Support for the Intel Sapphire Rapids CPU instructions
  • Change Interface Ring Buffer Size on AHV
  • Support of Repair Host Boot Disk and SSD Repair functionality in Prism Element for Compute-Only and Storage-Only nodes
  • Support for boot device order configuration from aCLI
  • Support for Skylake server on ESXi 8.0 Update 3
  • Support for Storage Policy for Volume Groups on ESXi

  • Life Cycle Manager (LCM) 3.1
