This page is dedicated to the Nutanix Flow functionality which is a policy driven framework that inspects network traffic within the datacenter and takes appropriate actions. The framework is not network centric, it is workload centric meaning configuration follows the objects (VMs) no matter their network configuration.
The Flow security policies are applied to Categories and not VM objects which means it is really easy to enable and or disable certain policies for one or more VMs at the same time at any given time.
There are three policy types available:
- Application security
- Isolation environment
- Quarantine
