Yesterday, 2018-01-30, Nutanix release a new minor update to their 5.5 version meaning latest AOS and Prism Central version is now 5.5.0.5.
AOS 5.5.0.5 adds support for additional HW platforms compared to 5.5.0.4 and the complete list of supported HW platforms for 5.5.0.5 now includes:
- Nutanix NX and SX Series
- Cisco UCS C-Series
- Dell EMC XC Series
- Dell PowerEdge
- Lenovo Converged HX Series
In addition to the added HW platforms there re a few bug fixes includes for:
- AHV
- Prism UI
- Stargate
Whenever there is an AOS update you’ll find a Prism Central update as well and 5.5.0.5 includes fixes for the infrastructure / Services component.
In addition to AOS and Prism Central a new version of AHV was also released, latest and greatest is now version 20170830.94. This update includes security patches for Spectre & also Google Reptoline coding technique in the AHV kernel security enhancements
