Yesterday, 2020-07-09, Nutanix released a new version of Era meaning version 1.3.1 is now the latest and greatest. For you that’s is not familiar with Nutanix Era it’s a database management & data copy solution which you can read more about here
Version 1.3.1 comes with an enhancement to Windows Domain Profiles, which is a logical software construct required when joining a MSSQL Database to a Windows domain. It includes information about:
- Domain name (FQDN),
- Domain user and password.
- SQL service startup account
- Era worker service account
- Active Directory Organizational Unit (OU) paths for clusters and database server VMs
In addition to the above, Era 1.3.1 includes enhancements and improvements in the following areas:
- Era Server including e.g. Network Profile mgmt
- MSSQL
- Cleanup tasks
- Refresh Clone.
- Snapshot with third party VSS hardware providers.
- Oracle
- Patching

- Script management
