Yesterday, 2014-12-09, VMware released a version of vCloud Automation Center (vCAC) and as we have been told for a while now the product was rebranded to vRealize Automation (vRA). So the new version is called vRealize Automation 6.2.0.
Some of the the enhancements includes:
- Enhanced Ednpoing support for:
- vSphere 6 (Q1 2015)
- XenDesktop 7
- Enhancements to vCloud air
- Proxy Support
- Pay as you go support (Q1 2015)
- Ability to edit Custom Properties during approval time
- Scheduler for reconfigure operations
- Ability to change lease times to indefinite
- Displays Health Badge from vRealize Operations Manager
- Updated the vRealize Automation Programming Guide
- Identify idle resources and reclaim such resources
- vRealize Orchestrator
- switch case
- global error handling
One of the resolved issues is:
- Unable to find vSphere or vCloud Director virtual machines by unique identifier using the vRealize Orchestrator Plug-In for vRealize Automation 6.2 or directly in vSphere API
