A few days ago an updated version of Nutanix AHV best practices guide (BPG) was released meaning the latest version available is 3.1. The BPG still covers the following areas:

- Virtual Machine High Availability
- Acropolis Dynamic Scheduler
- VM Deployment
- Nutanix Guest Tools
- VM Data Protection
- Hypervisor Mobility and Conversion
- Live Migration
- CPU Configuration
- Memory
- Disks
- Resource Oversubscription
- Huge Pages

Changes have been made regarding:
- SCSI UNMAP and Thin Provisioning
- Clone powered on VM
- VM Mobility Driver is changed to VirtIO
