Just gotta love when things you expect to just work suddenly doesn’t 🙂
This time it was the Messages app on my MacBook, macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (yes old version) that caused an issue for a while.
When trying to start the app i received he following error:
Luckily enough there was an easy fix and it had to do with the file com.apple.apsd.plist located in the dirctory /Library/Preferences/
I didn’t delete the file, just renamed it using the command sudo mv /Library/Preferences/com.apple.apsd.plist /Library/Preferences/com.apple.apsd.plist.org After the rename, verify there is no file called com.apple.apsd.plist in directory /Library/Preferences/ using ls command. When done, start iMessage app again and login
and there you go:)
Happy iMessaging:)
