It has only been about 1.5 months since Nutanix AOS 4.7 was released which i wrote about here and yesterday (2016-08-11) a maintenance release AOS 4.7.1 was shipped.
As for any other maintenance software release they are mostly about bug fixes but one major new feature is support for sharing a virtual hard disk file (VHDX format) among multiple virtual machines. This means you can now create Hyper-V guest failover clusters. The support is also included in a Cloud Platform System (CPS) Hyper-V deployment.
The AOS 4.7.1 release notes can be found here and the software can be downloaded here.
In addition to AOS 4.7.1, Prism Central 4.7.1 and Nutanix Cluster Check version 2.2.7 were also released.
The Prism Central (actually released 2016-08-10) release notes can be found here and the software can be downloaded here.
The NCC release notes can be found here and the software can be downloaded here.
