As you might know Nutanix has been supporting a variety of HPE, both Gen9 and Gen10, servers running Nutanix software meaning even before todays announcement there has been Nutanix customers using HPE hardware. But now it’s a true partnership between HPE & Nutanix.
This changes today, 2019-04-09, since Nutanix and HPE announced a global partnership
With this new partnership brings two choices for existing and new HPE & Nutanix customers:
- Nutanix Software will be available through HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud as a Service (aaS) offering. GreenLake means you’ll consume and pay for the solution based on a pay-as-you-go model. HPE ProLiant or Apollo servers will be implemented in customers on-premises data center or in their co-location data centers.
- New HPE hardware models called HPE DX. This new model will be built on the physical servers included in the Hybrid Cloud as a Service offering meaning HPE ProLiant & HPE Apollo.
Target workloads includes your mission critical systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Splunk & Hadoop.
