Nutanix @Nordic VMUG UserCon

“VMTurbo"

It’s soon, tomorrow actually, time for the early Nordic VMUG user Conference in Copenhagen Denmark. This year it takes place Dec 1 at Scandic Copenhagen Vester Søgade 6 1601.

Unfortunately i can’t make it, was scheduled to go there but some last minute things came up. This user conference is like a mini VMworld including both good presentations (break out sessions) and an area (like VMworld Solutions Exchange) where you can meet vendors and have useful discussions.

For more information including about the event, please visit the Nordic VMUG homepage here for detailed information about:

  • Event details & Sponsors
  • Agenda
  • Registration

The day starts at 08:15 AM and finish 6:30 PM so it’s a long day. See the agenda here and like the other years i think the VMUG group has done a great job putting this together.

I’m very happy to let you know that Nutanix has decided to be a Platinum Sponsor for the VMUG User Conference and i definitely think you should meet up with my colleagues in the vendor area to have a chat about anything Nutanix, watch a demo and maybe get a give away (not sure what will be available).

Nutanix also has a breakout session at 10:15 that will cover the following topic:

Role of Hyper-Convergence and Web-Scale in Enterprise Datacenters, Nutanix
Join us for a close-up look at datacenter trends and the Nutanix hyper-converged platform with web-scale technologies for virtualized workloads, such as enterprise applications, desktop virtualization/EUC, private cloud, and big data. We’ll cover the Nutanix web-scale architecture and how it is changing datacenter operations through leading performance, intuitive management, seamless scaling, and deep integration with the virtualization stack.

If you want to learn or learn more about what we at Nutanix are doing, this is an excellent opportunity.

Hope you have a good time in Copenhagen tomorrow and i also hope to meet you there next year.
