Three years as a blogger

Today, March 13 2016, it has been three years since i started this blog and it has for sure been a fun ride. The initial idea was to use it as a personal online documentation library or personal usage & share my problems and solutions with anyone interested. I’m still blogging about my day 2 day challenges (architectural & technical once) but have also included product features, product releases, have had guest bloggers including both blog sponsors and existing or old colleagues. One thing that i still don’t think you’ll see here is dedicated blog posts about trends but who knows:)

During this year a lot of fun stuff have happened:

  • I achieved the Nutanix Platform Expert (NPX) title which you can read more about here.
  • My blog was voted #17 in the yearly vBlog top voting and this is one place up from last year. See separate blog post here and once again a big thank you to my readers.
  • I have been awarded the vExpert title for 2016.
  • Published 120 blog posts. Still a bit higher than one per week that is my target.

The number of unique blog visitors per day are still increasing and i hope to attract new readers

Apart from blogging i have been involved in many interesting projects both internally and customer facing in my role as a Solutions & Consulting architect at Nutanix. Still working with automation and orchestration as my primary focus but i have also been involved in VDI deployments on top of Nutanix invincible infrastructure.

Final word will be pretty much same as last year, a huge thank you to all:

  • reading my blog
  • creating blog posts comments
  • linking your blog posts to mine
  • retweeting my blog post tweets
  • mention my blog posts on twitter
  • giving me linkedin likes
  • of my blog sponsors

Regards,
Magnus
