The following steps are included in the vCD workflow we created.
- Setup Nutanix Cluster
- Create Nutanix Storage Pool
- Create Nutanix Container
- Create vSphere Datacenter
- Create vSphere Cluster including DRS and HA configuration
- Add ESXi hosts to the vSphere Cluster
- Create vSphere Cluster resource pool
- Move Nutanix Controller Virtual Machines (CVMs) to the vSphere Cluster Resource Pool
The workflow requires a few input parameters including:
- Nutanix Controller Virtual Machines (CVMs) IP addresses
- Nutanix Storage Pool name
- Nutanix Container name
- vCenter Server datacenter name
- vSphere Cluster name

Important: This video was created for private usage and is not a corporate video.
This vCO workflow was created based on a customer request but additional steps can easily be added if needed. The customer already had a vCenter Server in place and didn’t want a new one so that’s the reason for not deploying a vCenter Server.
The video is recorded in a lab environment and not customer environment so that’s the reson for the empty vCenter Server.
