Today, 2024-05-22, two months after the previous Nutanix Database Service, NDB, version was released Nutanix made a new version available meaning the latest available version is 2.5.5. The dot dot version typically does not include features and new capabilities but with this release MongoDB version 6 is added as a supported database engine version for RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Debian and Ubuntu. In addition AOS 6.8 is supported.
There is also, as usual, a strong focus on security and the following security vulnerabilities has been fixed on the NDB server(s) and NDB agent VM(s):
