One question I receive on almost a weekly basis is how am I allowed to connect Nutanix Nodes in the same Nutanix cluster via physical switches. Even though there has been no official documentation around this there has been understanding on how to do things meaning keep them as close to each other as possible. Depending on who you asked you might have received different responses in regards of what is allowed and what is not.

Based on this me and my colleague Jason Burns have created a Nutanix official document which you can consult to get an understanding of the recommendations and limitations in how you can connect Nutanix nodes in the same Nutanix cluster.
