The third post about Maintenance Window will be about how to remove a DB Server VM. This can definitely be done and letβs take Maintenance Window Demo01 which contains two DB Server VMs (pg01vm & pgvm02) as an example. No comments about the different naming conventions please π
To remove one or more DB Server VMs from a Maintenance Windows, start with going to DB Server VMs view to remove one or more DB Server VMs from a Maintenance Window then,
- Click the checkbox next to the DB Server VMs youβd like to remove from a Maintenance Window
- Click Actions and select Maintenance

- Unselect the checkbox βOperating System Patchingβ and click Update.

- Check the Demo01 Maintenance Window and now itβs empty.

There is also an option to remove a single DB Server VM by accessing (click) the DB Server VM view and click Actions and select Maintenance. From there you perform the same steps as above.
